'Big Trouble in Little China' is one of my top 10-15 favorite movies from my childhood. All I know is that if they go through with this thing, they'd better do it justice. Don't make it a lame, bad CGI-fest with The Rock doing a cheesy impersonation of Kurt Russell as Jack Burton.
If they're going to do it then they need to make it more serious and action-oriented and remove the satirical aspect of the film. There's no need to try and top what BTILC did; they should just focus on taking it in a different direction.

Yes but with today's PC crowd they will use the woman from Mike and Molly as their creation.
This is one of my favorite movies from teenage years. Russell is so good in this. No way the Rock will do it justice.
Russell drops so many epic one liners in this film. Plus I believe it's where mortal kombat got the idea for Raiden, cld be wrong tho.
They should just remake films that weren't made well the first time. I blame O'bama for this crap.
Kurt's trifecta of BTILC, Escape from New York, and The Thing are as fine of a trifecta as any star has ever made.
