Looked into them recently, and am curious as well. Some of the reviews I've read say it doesn't lift high enough for people over 6' tall. At 6'4", I'm gonna have to see one in person before I pull the trigger.

Has anyone used one. I'm thinking about getting one.
I have had one for about a year now and it is my favorite thing. Sorry wife and kids, guitars and drum kit. My Varidesk ProPlus 36 is better. I have been standing/sitting alternately while I code/work for years and this thing makes it basically effortless to switch. Much better than a desk designed for the job. Get one.

I'm 6'2". It works well for me but I suppose it could be a little less perfect for those a couple inches taller. I do take it all the way up when I stand.

I spend 10-12hours/day looking at a screen...

Bought one of those fancy-dancy Raynor Ergohuman chairs to replace an Aeron a few years back. It lasted about 14 months. Much more comfortable than the Aeron, but made for ****. Went to an elevated, standing desk by a different company (not varidesk). That experiment lasted about a month and it was a struggle to make it that long. Pain in the ***. Good idea if you have the freedom to move around occasionally, but if you're chained to a desk, you;ll hate having to stand. Well, I did. And switching back and forth, up and down, was nothing short of wasted time and an effort in frustration. You stand so long you want to sit, then you sit for 15 minutes and feel guilty that you dumped a grand on a ****** standing desk, so you stand up. Meh.

I now use a unipivot stool and footrest with an elevated desk. Best setup yet; leaning. F_uck standing all day. You can have those last 5 years of life. I'm sitting.

Largely a gimmick. Our meat sack users made us buy these, some of them wouldn't even start working for us unless they had one ready to go (one special snowflake even requested one in Mahogany).. We'd have to set them up, because God forbid they do anything themselves.

Sure enough, as I walk through the offices, maybe 20% are still using them.

Same deal on most of that...hours in front of a screen . I have ended up in a physical condition after 20+ years doing that that sitting too long I get pain in my shoulder and standing I get pain in my back...so the best I can do is shift a lot between the two. The cool thing about Varidesk is that it's $300-$400 and sits on a normal desk and is super sturdy. If it don't work you aren't out $1500 for the standing desk.

At the recommendation from my PT I got one. After a bunch of research I went with the Fully Jarvis and then I bought a cheaper keyboard tray and it mounted just fine.

I like it. Once every few hours I stand for 30-45 minutes.
