Is this award necessarily based on someone that's had a hardship of some kind, since Switzer gave it to a guy, Don Key who had cancer?

I don't know what the parameters are but, hell, everyone's had challenges...so I say Eric Striker, since he's so consistently, and in a dramatic way affected every game he's been in.

Just my two centavos.o_O

Definitely a senior award. Here is how it's described by Bob Stoops from an article in the Tulsa World last year.

"You know, character, a guy that’s done everything right here,” Stoops said. “A guy that’s maybe overcome some things to be a leader on the team and to be a significant and strong part of the team. And, again, a guy that does off the field right and on the field right.”

Yep, sounds like the three I listed.........

Has anyone noticed Darlington has coach speak or at least tv announcer in his many talents?

Yeah, well.... it may be hard to sing and play at the same time on a guitar, but you ought to try it on the trumpet! ;)

Absolute Zero....you are up. I saw your dad play two coronets at the same time. The harmony was perfect.....Okay, I'm a jackwagon for not discussing the TCU game...

So you don't think it will be a close call, I take it?

Damn you, I want to be a Falconer...that is so cool.
I've wanted to do that since the 80s.

Of course, it's harder to qualify to do that than be a parent...isn't that just wrong?:(

SS (Senior Sooner) Likes SS (Sterling Shepard) for The Don Key Award...

Outside of the Ridiculous 'Muscle Flex' Penalty...He's been a really Stand-Up Young Man, IMO...
