Alabama OL Elijah Pritchett plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal
Alabama offensive lineman Elijah Pritchett plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Pritchett spent two seasons with the Crimson Tide. After redshirting his freshman season, Pritchett appeared in all 13 games for Alabama this year. Although, Pritchett always found a way onto the field, his minutes were limited.
Pritchett boasts excellent size, standing at 6-foot-6, 312 pounds. Further, he has no shortage of time left to grow. Pritchett will have three years of eligibility remaining. Pritchett was also heavily recruited by USC and Florida State when he was in high school.
“It was a really tough decision because all the schools on my list were high achieving teams, but Alabama is just different,” Pritchett said about his decision to choose the Crimson Tide. “I feel Alabama is the right school for me because of how they win, what they do in the SEC, and how the coaches there can make me the best I can be.”
Now, Pritchett will look for somewhere better. Pritchett played high school football at Carver (GA), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 34 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
