Alabama tight end Miles Kitselman plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal

Shortly after their Rose Bowl CFP semifinal loss to Michigan, the Alabama offense took a hit when tight end Miles Kitselman announced his plans to enter the Transfer Portal.

Kitselman spent two years in Tuscaloosa and appeared in 13 games this season, mostly as a special teams contributor, and didn’t catch a single pass this fall. However, last season, he appeared in just six games but did register some stats with two catches for 18 yards — his only such numbers in a Crimson Tide uniform.

Miles Kitselman would come to Alabama after spending one season with Hutchinson Community College, where he first attended after graduating high school as an unranked prospect. However, in one year with Hutchinson, Kitselman only caught two passes for 16 yards in three total games played. Nonetheless, he was then offered a spot with the then-defending champion Alabama and enjoyed his last two seasons there.

Now, he’ll find a new home for what he says is just one more year. Here was Kitselman’s post announcing the decision to transfer:
