Bryce Young is getting into the podcasting game. Following his wonderful debut, the Alabama quarterback announced he’s signed a deal to host a podcast for Colin Cowherd and iHeartRadio’s The Volume podcast network.

The landmark deal is another example of Young’s marketability. Moreover, you can hear the current Heisman Trophy favorite talk college football each week on The Bryce Young Podcast.

Young won’t be alone in his new venture, as Jake Crain will join him on the show. Crain has experience working with The Volume, as he hosts Jboy Show on their network.

“I just thought, you know what? This is really cool,” Cowherd said. “It’s an opportunity for fans to hear somebody, to get the perspective of the quarterback, the on-field coach of Alabama, the best dynasty of my life. So it just felt kind of natural.”

Furthermore, it’s going to be interesting to see if Young goes in-depth following games against SEC rivals. Through the show, unrivaled access into the life and thoughts of one of college football’s best players will be provided.

“It won’t be the first time a quarterback talks after the game, but it is the first time that I remember that a big-time college football quarterback at a national powerhouse has a platform — and you will hear them every Tuesday,” Cowherd added.

Young has been at the forefront of NIL since it’s inception. Now, he’s blazing another trail that we could see other big-time stars

Nick Saban impressed with Bryce Young

Nobody knew if Alabama’s offense would see any sort of drop off as they transitioned from Mac Jones to Young at quarterback. Evidently, Saturday’s win over Miami proved that Alabama still has enough talent on its roster to continue being a dominant all-around team.

“I think Bryce did really, really well,” Alabama head coach Nick Saban said to reporters after the game about Young’s play against Miami. “He’s smart. Most people just look at the stats and say he was whatever he was for whatever he was for this many yards. But he redirects the protection. He plays like a veteran out there.

“We had the one sack-fumble, which is something that we don’t really want to have but really not all his fault that he doesn’t get protected. But I was really impressed with the way he played in the game. The poise that he played with, the command that he had. He kind of took what the defense gave him and really directed the offense in a really positive way. I was really pleased.”

Young led Alabama to an all-around dominating performance over Miami on offense. Alabama finished with 501 total yards, 354 passing yards and 147 rushing yards. Young took the helm on Alabama’s long offensive drives throughout the game. The Crimson Tide possessed the ball for 37:02 compared to 22:58 for Miami. Alabama had 28 first downs and converted 10 of 16 third downs.
