Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss four-star wide receiver Adrian Wilson came back on the board last month, as he decommitted from Oregon.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder, who’s also a one-time TCU pledge, is once again looking for his home at the college level. This weekend, he’ll be in Tempe on an official visit to Arizona State.

It won’t be Wilson’s first trip to see the Sun Devils, as the new Big 12 program is amongst the many pushing to land his pledge. Kenny Dillingham and the ASU staff will look to make an in-person splash this weekend.

Wilson is the No. 158 overall prospect and No. 17 WR in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 26 player in the Lone Star State.

Texas A&M is another team in the mix for the blue-chip pass-catcher. On Monday night, On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons logged a pick in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) in favor of the Aggies landing Wilson.

“Since the new staff took over in College Station, communication has been strong and Wilson has taken a liking to the in-state program,” Simmons wrote. “He really likes Holmon Wiggins and the Aggies have a real shot at keeping Wilson home.”

It’s never easy to compile a top-notch recruiting class, and Dillingham and Co. will certainly have their work cut out for them in Tempe. Adding a player of Wilson’s caliber could kickstart some momentum on the recruiting trail, however.

After signing 20 prospects last cycle and just the No. 51 class in the nation, the Sun Devils currently have just five commitments in the 2025 class. The pledge list ranks No. 54 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) J Serra Catholic three-star quarterback Michael Tollefson has been committed to ASU since June 20 and is the highest-ranked pledge in the fold. He is the No. 630 prospect overall and No. 37 QB in the cycle.

Houston Legacy three-star safety Joseph Smith is also a top-700 recruit. Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco three-star interior offensive lineman Matai Jefferson and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy three-star offensive tackle Alema Iosua provide some oomph in the trenches, while Texas City (Texas) wide receiver Xavier Skowron rounds out the class, as of April 16.
