San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) J Serra Catholic 2025 four-star quarterback Michael Tollefson announced that he has committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound signal-caller is the No. 230 overall prospect and No. 15 quarterback in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 23 player in California.

Arizona State extended an offer to Tollefson in January. He’s visited campus twice since that visit with the last trip coming in April.

With his pledge, Tollefson becomes the first commitment in Arizona State’s 2025 recruiting class.

Kenny Dillingham’s 2024 group currently has 10 commitments. The class ranks as the No. 51 class in the country and No. 4 in the Pac-12.

Arizona State’s 2024 class consists of Mesquite (Texas) North Mesquite three-star wide receiver Elijah Baesa, Lewisville (Texas) three-star cornerback Tony-Louis Nkuba, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain three-star athlete Dylan Tapley, Katy (Texas) Katy Jordan three-star athlete Zechariah Sample, Ponchatoula (La.) three-star linebacker Albert Smith, Saint Martinville (La.) three-star athlete Cullen Charles, Manvel (Texas) three-star defensive lineman Mason Fleming, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Horizon three-star punter Kanyon Floyd, Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola offensive tackle Champ Westbrooks and Mesa (Ariz.) Eastmark defensive lineman Ramar Williams.

Michael Tollefson currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $56K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
