Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Charter Oak athlete Solomon Davis has decommitted from Arizona, he announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Davis has been committed to the Wildcats since June.

“First of all, I would like to thank God for the guidance, direction, and blessings he has bestowed upon me,” Davis wrote on Twitter. “My family and I would also like to thank Coach Fisch, Coach Walker, and the rest of the Arizona staff for welcoming us with open arms. This has been a very tough decision for me to make, but after continuous prayer and conversations with my family I have decided to decommit from The University Of Arizona. Thank you Tucson.”

The 6-foot, 178-pounder is the No. 528 overall prospect according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 21 athlete and the No. 39 senior recruit in California.
