Former Arizona State forward Jalen Graham, who won All-Pac 12 honors in 2021-22, has committed to Arkansas, the transfer announced Thursday. The junior started 43 of 78 appearances for the Sun Devils over three seasons before choosing to enter the transfer portal and spend his senior season with the Razorbacks.

After averaging a career-high 9.9 points and 4.6 rebounds last season, Jalen Graham will join the rapidly growing list of transfers coming to Arkansas. Head coach Eric Musselman has already secured commitments from former Missouri forward Trevon Brazile, along with twin brothers Makhi and  Makhel Mitchell from Rhode Island.

Graham joins as a former three-star recruit who ranked No. 149 in the 2019 On3 Consensus Rankings and No. 5 in his home state of Arizona. While he did not initially hold an offer from Arkansas, Musselman did pursue him during his time at Nevada.

The Arkansas Razorbacks have become a popular pick near the top of every “way too early” top 25 list across the industry, given their back-to-back Elite Eight appearances under Eric Musselman. As the staff focuses its attention on 2022, it continues to add players to the fold in an attempt to bring the first national championship since 1994.

With key contributors JD Notae and others testing the NBA Draft waters, the team could lose much of its scoring from the past season but still rank among the top teams. Arkansas currently holds the No. 3 ranked recruiting class in 2022 with three five-star recruits committed and three others inside the top 200 to round out the group.

With the four additions through the transfer portal also set, several former players have entered their names in the transfer portal. Veteran center Connor Vanover and freshman Chance Moore, along with guard KK Robinson have tested the water so far.
