Aledo (Texas) three-star cornerback Jaden Allen announced that he has committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The 5-foot-10, 150-pounder is the No. 429 overall prospect and No. 45 cornerback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 72 player in Texas.

Allen was a one-time Texas commitment but announced his decommitment from the Longhorns on Feb. 25. After that decommitment he visited Tennessee on March 25 and took his first trip to Arkansas two days later.

Allen is the sixth commitment in Arkansas’ 2024 recruiting class. That class ranks as the No. 16 class in the country and the No. 8 class in the SEC.

That class consists of four-star defensive lineman Kavion Henderson, four-star wide receiver Noreel White, four-star linebacker Julius Pope, three-star quarterback KJ Jackson and three-star defensive lineman Dion Stutts.

Arkansas finished the 2023 recruiting cycle with the No. 24 class in the country and the No. 10 class in the SEC. Four-star cornerback Jaylon Braxton was Arkansas’ highest-ranked 2023 signee at No. 137 in the country.

That class also had four-star signees in tight ends Shamar Easter and Luke Hasz, running back Isaiah Augustave, EDGE Quincy Rhodes Jr. and quarterback Malachi Singleton.

Allen currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $31K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
