Arkansas picked up three wins on the recruiting trail Friday landing pledges from four-star athlete Courtney Crutchfield, four-star defensive lineman Charleston Collins and three-star cornerback Jaden Allen.

The three pledges elevated the Razorbacks’ 2024 recruiting class to No. 15 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Arkansas’ group, which also ranks No. 8 in the SEC, rose one spot from No. 16.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Collins is the No. 203 overall prospect and No. 24 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Arkansas.

On3 rates Collins higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 124 overall prospect, No. 12 defensive lineman and No. 1 player in Arkansas.

Crutchfield is the No. 384 overall prospect, No. 18 athlete and the No. 5 player in Arkansas. Allen is the No. 429 overall prospect, No. 45 cornerback and the No. 72 player in Texas.

With those three pledges, seven of Arkansas’ eight total commitments have come over the last month and a half.

Prior to his commitment, Crutchfield had visited Fayetteville three times and built a strong bond with Arkansas wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton.

Collins had several notable SEC programs after him but after back-to-back winter trips to Fayetteville, it solidified to him how much the Razorbacks coaching staff wanted him.

“It really showed me how much of a priority I am for them and their program,” Collins told On3. “They had a bunch of top athletes and recruits on both offense and defense, and he took the time in his day to say he was gonna spend the day with Charlie, and it really showed me something and meant a lot to me. It wasn’t forced and it was all smooth.”

Arkansas continues to win during the spring

Four-star defensive lineman Kavion Henderson was Arkansas’ lone commit entering the new year. Henderon is still the Razorbacks’ highest-ranked commitment but he’s no longer alone.

Three-star defensive lineman Dion Stutts kicked off the spring cycle for the Razorbacks’ with his pledge on March 11. Four-star wide receiver Noreel White committed to Arkansas two days after Stutts.

In April the Razorbacks picked up a commitment from four-star linebacker Julius Pope and their quarterback of the future in KJ Jackson.

With the success they’ve had so far, Sam Pittman and co. are on course for a better class than their 2023 class. The Razorbacks signed 20 players during the 2023 cycle finishing with the No. 24 class in the country and No. 10 class in the SEC.
