Brimingham (Ala.) Parker four-star defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford has committed to Auburn.

He chose the Tigers over the likes of Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, Texas, Florida and Miami.

Crawford is the No. 203 overall prospect and No. 22 DL in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 13 player in Alabama.

Crawford has made trips to the Plains for multiple home games as well as an unofficial visit at the end of June. Defensive line coach Jeremy Garrett led the Tigers’ recruitment of the blue-chip lineman.

“It was pretty good,” Crawford told Auburn Live following the Tigers’ win over Samford in September. “They dominated the whole game. They looked decent to me.”

“The atmosphere is different from previous years,” he added. “Way better.”

Crawford does not currently have an On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Crawford makes four pledges for Tigers’ 2025 class

The addition of Crawford makes three defensive commitments and four overall for Hugh Freeze and the Tigers in the 2025 cycle.

Highland Home (Ala.) four-star EDGE Jakaleb Faulk highlights the class as the No. 160 overall prospect and No. 13 EDGE. He was the second pledge in the Tigers’ class, behind Opelika (Ala.) three-star DL Malik Autry. The class also includes Athens (Ala.) three-star offensive tackle Spencer Dowland.

“I love the new staff and the energy they’re bringing,” Faulk told On3 upon his commitment. “I love how enthusiastic they are and excited about the season, I have a good feeling about them and I think they could do way better than they did last year just off of their recruiting. It’s kind of amazing to me.”

Faulk’s brother, Keldric, is a freshman defensive lineman for the Tigers. He visited the Plains close to six times with the old staff and five times since Freeze took over.

“The Auburn family is amazing up there and the energy has changed,” Faulk said. “They’ve got a lot of hype with Coach Freeze and what he can bring to the table.”

“I’ve got a feeling that (Freeze) can bring them back to that championship level and further than they’ve ever been,” Faulk said. “He’s going to do something good there.”
