The Auburn Tigers just lost another player ahead of the 2024 offseason. On Monday, On3 learned running back Brian Battie entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Battie transferred to Auburn during the 2023 offseason after spending the first three years of his collegiate career in South Florida with the Bulls. In his last season at USF, the junior running back rushed for 1185 yards on 175 rushing attempts, averaging 6.8 yards per carry with eight rushing touchdowns in 12 games.

Unfortunately, Battie would have a much smaller role in Auburn’s offense this year, carrying the ball 51 times for 227 yards with one rushing touchdown in 13 games.

Battie played high school football at Sarasota High in Sarasota, FL, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1589 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
