Bruce Pearl is bringing his sense of humor with him along for the ride as his Auburn squad takes a trip to Israel.

It’ll be a heck of a journey for Pearl and company, as the Tigers will visit the City of David, the Western Wall, the Garden of Gethsemane, the holocaust museum Yad Vashem, Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Dead Sea, according to Tom Green of AL.com.

Alas, Pearl imparted some words of wisdom as his thinks ahead to his team making their way to the Dead Sea, which he shared with Green and the rest of the world.

“Hopefully they’ll be smart enough to not splash or fart, because both would be painful,” said Pearl, per Green.

Perhaps all travelers entering the Dead Sea should heed the warning from Bruce Pearl, who obviously has done his research on the possible outcomes. As long as he’s in-charge of Auburn, there will never be a dull moment for the Tigers — especially when they’re on a worldwide tour.

The NCAA allows teams to make an international trip once every four years. The basketball team previously went to Italy in the summer of 2017.
