Five-star Georgia transfer AJ Harris arrives at Auburn for visit

Former five-star Georgia defensive back AJ Harris is at Auburn for an official visit, shortly after entering the NCAA transfer portal. Harris entered the portal after spending just one season with the Bulldogs.

The talented prospect played in seven games during the season, recording eight tackles on the year. Those were his only contributions during his freshman season.

But there’s little doubt his raw talent could make him a valuable addition for another program.

Prior to enrolling at Georgia, AJ Harris was a four-star prospect and the No. 39 overall recruit in the nation in the 2023 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

He also checked in as the No. 3 cornerback in the class and the No. 5 overall player in the state of Alabama, hailing from Phenix City (AL) Central.
