On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Auburn trending for 2025 4-star TE Ryan Ghea

Auburn is trending in the recruitment of Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton 2025 four-star tight end Ryan Ghea, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Tigers recruiting insider Jeffrey Lee logged an expert prediction with a 75% confidence level that Auburn will land Ghea’s commitment.

Ghea visited Auburn this past week and spoke with Auburn Live.

“The visit went great,” he said. “I enjoyed my time with the staff and the players. I met with Coach (Hugh) Freeze for about 20 minutes and I was with (tight ends) Coach (Ben) Aigamaua all day.”

This trip was Ghea’s sixth known visit to the Plains in 2023.

“They are definitely high up on my board,” he said. “Definitely the way they use their tight ends and how they develop you and make you the best you can be. And the education, closeness to home and the relationships I have with the staff.”

Ghea is the nation’s No. 268 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the cycle’s No. 16 tight end and No. 31 recruit from Georgia.

He does not currently have a publicly listed On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Auburn starting off hot in 2025 cycle

Auburn has added a pair of pledges to its 2025 class in October: Thomasville (Ga.) Thomas County Central four-star safety Kendarius Reddick and Birmingham (Ala.) Parker four-star defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford. Reddick is the No. 77 recruit in the cycle, while Crawford is No. 207 overall. In total, the class currently consists of five commits and ranks No. 7 nationally, per the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking.
