Buford (Ga.) four-star 2025 offensive lineman Brayden Jacobs has committed to Clemson, he announced on Sunday.

He chose the Tigers over Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, LSU and a host of other programs on his visit to Clemson over the weekend.

The 6-6, 310-pounder is the No. 185 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 16 offensive tackle and No. 25 recruit in Georgia.

Jacobs was one of the biggest eye-catchers at last winter’s Under Armour Next camp in Atlanta, and On3’s Sam Spiegelman noted him as one of the event’s standouts:

“The son of former Auburn and New York Giants RB Brandon Jacobs, the 2025 OL is certainly looking the part at a different position,” Spiegelman wrote. “Like his father, the younger Jacobs passes the eye test at 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds with a tremendous wingspan. Lining up at guard, the Buford (Ga.) rising junior flashed quick feet and was impressive anticipating and countering some of the upperclassmen along the defensive line. Jacobs has length and packed some powerful jabs to set a base and looks capable of being a movable piece along the offensive line.”

Jacobs is the ninth commitment in the 2025 cycle for the Tigers, who also have a commitment from four-star offensive lineman Easton Ware. The Tigers also have their quarterback already on board with four-star Blake Hebert, who leads an offense-heavy class thus far.

Clemson holds top-5 recruiting class early this cycle

The class checks in at No. 5 overall and No. 1 in the ACC, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Headlining the slew of pledges is elite EDGE Ari Watford, who ranks as the No. 21 overall prospect in the class.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder chose the Tigers over Ohio State, Virginia Tech, and Syracuse.

“Clemson is a very unique place. The people there and the family oriented culture Coach Swinney has built stood out to me. People that go to Clemson go for the right reasons and that’s something I’ve wanted to be a part of growing up.”

Other blue-chippers in the class include Lynchburg (Va.) Liberty Christian four-star running back Gideon Davidson and Lake City (S.C.) South Florence four-star defensive lineman Amare Adams.
