4-star Zechariah Owens re-commits to Clemson
Less than a week after decommitting from Clemson, McDonough (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy four-star offensive tackle Zechariah Owens has decided to commit once again to the Tigers
“After a long time of thinking, praying and reconsidering my family and I have decided that I will stay and continue to be committed to Clemson University,” Owens said on social media. “I want to thank the Clemson coaching and staff and my fellow teammates for sticking beside me through this and also i want to thank everyone for reaching out to my family and I through this process.”
Owens is the No. 232 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $10.4k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
