Palm Bay (Fla.) American Heritage three-star EDGE Adam Kissayi has committed to the Clemson Tigers. He announced the news on Twitter.

A former Minnesota pledge, Kissayi decommitted from the Golden Gophers on July 13. He been committed to Minnesota since June 18.

The 6-foot-7, 230-pounder is the No. 594 overall prospect and No. 39 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 79 player in Florida.

Kissayi is not ranked in the 2024 On300 but On3 ranks him as the No. 29 EDGE in the country and the No. 44 player in Florida.

Kissayi’s pledge to the Tigers comes not even 24 hours after he picked up an offer from Dabo Swinney.

“I like how it’s a faith-based program,” Kissayi told On3’s Jeremy Johnson in March. “Dabo Swinney is a great coach. You go there and there’s no cussing and you know that they work hard day in and day out. A lot of guys that are in the NFL Draft said they wouldn’t be where they are if it wasn’t for Clemson. I can’t agree with them more. Every time I go there, it just feels like home.”

Adam Kissay currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $21K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Clemson adds on to its top-10 2024 class

After finishing with the No. 11 class in the 2023 recruiting cycle, Clemson is ahead of that mark so far with its 2024 class.

Kissay is the 15th pledge of the class for the Tigers. The group ranks as the No. 8 class in the country and No. 1 in the ACC.

The class is headlined by a pair of five-star products and seven four-star recruits. Midlothian (Texas) wide receiver Bryant Wesco is the highest-ranked player in the class followed closely by Jefferson (Ga.) linebacker Sammy Brown.
