Clemson has sent out another offer to a running back in the class of 2023. The Tigers offered Dutch Fork star Jarvis Green on Thursday, he announced on Twitter.

Green has long been on Clemson’s radar and has been seeking an offer from the Tigers. He is currently committed to James Madison.

Green previously told On3 that Clemson is his “dream school.”

“[An offer] would mean a lot because Clemson has always been my dream school. Ever since I was little, I’ve been a Clemson fan just going to games and watching them win,” Green told Clemson Sports last November.

Green led Dutch Fork to a state title this season, averaging nearly 10 yards per carry. he finished with more than 2,200 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns in 13 games.

Green is one of four running back targets for the Tigers who is not already committed elsewhere, joining Jamarion Wilcox, Jamarius Haynes and Christopher Johnson.

A three-star prospect, Green has been committed to James Madison since August.

If he does end up at Clemson, Green would join former high school teammates Antonio Williams and Will Taylor — both receivers for the Tigers.

Taylor signed with Clemson for the class of 2021 and contributed as a freshman before getting injured. Williams signed with the Tigers for the class of 2022 and led Clemson in receiving yards as a freshman this past season.

Clemson currently has 23 commits and holds the No. 9 recruiting class in the country, according to the On3 Consensus rankings.

The class is headlined by five-star defensive lineman Peter Woods and high four-star quarterback Christopher Vizzina.

Clemson is currently 11-2 on the season and is preparing for an Orange Bowl matchup against Tennessee.

The Tigers won the ACC this past weekend, securing their seventh ACC title in eight years.

Clemson was in the conversation to reach the College Football Playoff for much of the year, before dropping games in November to Notre Dame and South Carolina.

Still, it was a very good year for a Tigers team that went 10-3 and won the Cheez-It Bowl in 2021.
