Which Clemson players are left in NFL playoffs

Joe Burrow and a handful of Clemson products are on the verge of history. The Cincinnati Bengals knocked off the top-seeded Tennessee Titans on Saturday, sending the organization to their first AFC Championship Game since 1988. With a win next weekend, the Bengals would punch a ticket to only their third Super Bowl appearance.

Former Clemson stars Tee Higgins, Jackson Carman and DJ Reader all played a key role in the win. Higgins was a first-team All-ACC receiver during his time in college. He had seven receptions for 96 yards in the Bengals win. The Bengals defense also shutdown a potent Tennessee attack thanks to Reader, who finished with two tackles for loss.

Cincinnati’s opponent in the AFC title game will be the Chiefs after they won a thriller against the Bills Sunday night. Former Clemson linebacker Dorian O’Daniel plays for Kansas City, while former receiver Cornell Powell is on the Chiefs practice squad.

In the NFC, Clemson will be represented by Tremayne Anchrum Jr. with the Rams. Los Angeles knocked off Tampa Bay on Sunday.

Clemson held Pitt to only 48 points Saturday night at Littlejohn Coliseum as the Tigers earned an impressive 75-48 victory. Pitt shot only 33 percent from the field and scored 21 points in the second half as Clemson followed up arguably its worst defensive game of the season with arguably its best.
