Final On3 2024 5-star Rankings 13 Newly Minted 5-stars!! New No. 1 Qb | Inside Scoop

On3 has released its final recruiting ranking for the 2024 class after the completion of the high school football season and all-star competitions. Tampa Catholic wide receiver and Clemson signee TJ Moore is a new five-star and the No. 13 overall prospect in the 2024 On300.

The latest edition of On3’s 2024 rankings features 32 five-star players, up from 21 in the penultimate update in November. Of those 32 prospects, 29 are signed to college programs, with three still yet to make their decisions official.

This final update comes after the end of the high school playoffs and postseason All-American games, where top prospects across the country faced off in a week of practices and ended with nationally televised games.

The 6-foot-2.5, 195-pound Moore chose Clemson in June over Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. Moore was named On3 MVP for the 2024 All-American Bowl after a stellar week of practices culminating in the All-American Bowl game.

“Hanging out with the commits and stuff made me feel 100%,” Moore told On3 when he committed. “I know Tavoy (Feagin) because he’s from where I’m from and I’ve known for a while that I wanted to play with him.”

Moore is one of two Clemson signees named as a five-star prospect in the final 2024 On300.

TJ Moore Scouting Summary

On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power writes this about Moore as a prospect:

“Savvy receiver with translatable technical skills and functional athleticism. Measured in at over 6-foot-2, 180 pounds as a junior. Showed improved athleticism as a junior, posting an 11.13 second mark in the 100 meters along with a 6-3 foot high jump. Turned in a strong junior campaign, catching 42 passes for 1,021 yards and 13 touchdowns. Averaged over 24 yards per catch. Technically advanced. A natural hands catcher who frames catches with good form.

“Has high-end ball skills with the ability to come down with acrobatic grabs. Makes impressive one-handed catches. Easily tracks the ball over his shoulder. A bouncy and light-footed mover. Drops his weight and uses lateral agility to break off defensive backs as a route-runner. Shows the ability to maximize yardage after the catch. May not have a truly overwhelming facet to his game but is skilled in about every facet. Younger for the cycle with an April birthday. Projects as a high-floor outside receiver prospect.”
