Indiana transfer offensive lineman Kahlil Benson announced he’s visiting the Colorado Buffaloes this weekend, he announced on his Twitter page on Friday evening.

The Buffaloes are in desperate need of offensive line help, so it shouldn’t be surprising that they’re courting the services of the 6-foot-6, 332-pound offensive tackle. Colorado allowed 56 sacks in 12 games this year, ranking them 132nd out of 133 qualifying teams in that stat category.

The Buffaloes also struggled to get any sort of ground game going, rushing for just 827 yards and 12 touchdowns for the entire 2023 campaign. That ranked them dead last in the country, averaging just over 68 yards per game.

In 2022, Benson appeared in all 12 games, starting five of those for the Hoosiers. As a freshman in 2021, he didn’t see any game action. In 2020, Benson suffered an ACL injury during fall camp, which forced him to redshirt that season.

Benson played his high school football with Southaven High School (Southaven, Mississippi). In the 2020 cycle, he as rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 563 overall recruit in America, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
