The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix is taking place on Sunday, and a hilarious moment took place when a reporter was tracking down Duke Blue Devils star Paolo Banchero. Reporter Martin Brundle ran after Banchero, twice calling him Patrick, referring to Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Brundle twice shouted out towards Banchero, instead calling him Patrick. Banchero eventually turned around, leading to a hilarious but cringe-worthy interview.

At the very beginning of the video, Brundle runs by another prominent sports star. Dwayne Wade, a 13-time NBA All Star and three-time NBA Champion, is wearing a green hat and Brundle ran right past him to get to who he thought was Mahomes.

Banchero starred at Duke as a freshman this past season, starting 39 games and averaging 33 minutes per game. He posted an impressive line of 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game. While Banchero isn’t as much of a star as Mahomes, he is still vying to become a top five pick in the upcoming 2022 NBA Draft.

Mahomes has had quite the NFL career, making four Pro Bowls and winning a Super Bowl in addition to being a one-time AP NFL MVP. He is also a one-time All-Pro.

In five seasons with the Chiefs, Mahomes has led Kansas City to a 50-13 regular season record. He has thrown for 18,991 yards with 151 touchdowns and 37 interceptions in his NFL career.

Mahomes is viewed as one of the top current players in all of sports for his dominance to kick off his NFL career. Banchero took the college basketball world by storm as a freshman, and now he is looking to do the same in the NBA next season. In a recent mock draft by ESPN, Banchero was selected with the No. 3 overall pick by the Detroit Pistons, with just Chet Holmgren and Jabari Smith selected above him.

Banchero officially entered the NBA Draft on April 20.

“Man, what a season,” Banchero said. “Playing on some of the biggest stages in front of you guys, the best fans in the world with my brothers. I couldn’t ask for anything more. It was really a blessing. I’ve got so much to be thankful for, firstly my mom and my dad always being there for me and supporting dreams that I had growing up. Next, my coaches. Coach (Jon) Scheyer, (Chris Carrawell), I appreciate you being there all year, pushing me to be my best. You guys became big brothers to me and I will cherish that forever.”
