Duke forward Kyle Filipowski appeared to trip North Carolina‘s Harrison Ingram during Saturday’s rivalry matchup inside Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

Former Duke guard and ESPN College GameDay host Jay Williams, who hasn’t been one to hold back on his takes in the past, let his opinion be known on the incident with his former team and bitter rival.

“Unacceptable…” he wrote, quote tweeting a replay of the incident.

The alleged trip came after Filipowski defended a shot Ingram took in the first half of Saturday’s season finale. No foul was called, but the two got tangled and both fell to the floor.

During the video, Filipowski was on all fours while on the court. Ingram, who was also on the ground, got up quicker than his opponent and is seen putting two hands on Filipowski’s back. In an attempt to get back on defense, Ingram jumped over Filipowski and the latter appeared to kick his back foot out.

Whether accidental or on purpose, Ingram was tripped and stumbled back onto the hardwood before he could get to mid-court.

After the game, Ingram said that he feels as though the trip was intentional, saying “I feel like he was trying to trip me,” but also admitted that he hadn’t watched the film back to know for sure.

Filipowski provided his own explanation for the incident during his post-game comments.

“I’m not really too sure how that whole situation happened, to be honest,” Filipowski said postgame, via ESPN. “I was really just getting up. My foot slipped. I don’t know how I caught him. That’s really all I’ve got.”

North Carolina would go on to defeat Duke 84-79 on the road. UNC led by as many as 15 points during the contest and never relinquished the lead. Ingram and Filipowski both provided major impacts to their team’s efforts on Saturday with Ingram notching a double-double while Filipowski put up a team-high 23 points.

The wins gives North Carolina another ACC regular season championship to add to their trophy case ahead of the conference tournament. Duke, who has lost both matchups to North Carolina this season, will be the 2-seed with a chance to meet their bitter rivals in the ACC Tournament finals next Sunday.

Duke receive a double bye into the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament, where they’ll meet either Syracuse, NC State or Louisville on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.
