Florida cornerback Jaydon Hill enters NCAA transfer portal
Florida cornerback Jaydon Hill has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. Hill started 11 games for the Gators this season and appeared in all 12 games.
He finished with 39 tackles, 4 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks. Hill also recorded four pass breakups and a fumble recovery this season for the Gators.
The Alabama native played the STAR position for Florida this season, after starting the final nine games at cornerback in 2022. Hill had 24 tackles and a pair of interceptions in 2022.
Jaydon Hill signed with Florida as a four-star recruit and the No. 270 overall player in the country in the class of 2019, according to the On3 Industry rankings. He attended Bob Jones High in Huntsville, Alabama, prior to signing with Florida.
As a junior in high school, he was named 7A first-team all-state. That season, he had five interceptions and 26 pass breakups. Jaydon Hill originally chose Florida over offers from Michigan, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas A&M, among others.
