Game time and TV network have been set for Florida vs. Texas A&M on Nov. 5, with the Southeastern Conference announcing the pairings for a handful of league games that weekend.

Florida and Texas A&M will kick off at noon ET from College Station, Texas, with a broadcast set for ESPN.

It will be the sixth meeting between the programs in the series’ history and the fourth such meeting since Texas A&M joined the SEC back in 2012. In fact, Florida was Texas A&M’s first opponent in its inaugural season in the SEC and other circumstances have paired the two opponents at various points since.

This will actually be the third trip to College Station for the Gators since the SEC added Missouri and Texas A&M.

Florida traveled there in 2012, before the SEC had its permanent scheduling plan in place for the 2014 season following the expansion to 14 teams. That 2012 game did not count in the annual 12-year rotation.

Because of that, Florida and Texas A&M were slated to meet in 2017 (in Gainesville; Texas A&M won 19-17) and 2022 (in College Station) once the SEC finalized its 12-year scheduling rotation.

But the two teams also ended up squaring off in 2020 when the league scrapped its normal scheduling and moved to a 10-game, conference-only slate due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Florida traveled to College Station for that game, as well, falling 41-38.

Texas A&M owns a 3-2 edge in the all-time series.

Florida’s wins in the series came in 1962 and in 2012. The Gators won 42-6 in 1962, while besting Johnny Manziel and the Aggies 20-17 in 2012. Manziel would go on to win the Heisman Trophy that year.

Texas A&M, in addition to its wins in 2017 and 2020, also won 37-14 in the Sun Bowl in 1977.
