Port Saint Lucie (Fla.) IMG Academy three-star interior offensive lineman Knijeah Harris committed to Florida on May. 7. This Wednesday, he and his high school teammate — five-star cornerback Desmond Ricks — took a photo with multiple Gators coaches, including head coach Billy Napier.

Harris is the No. 408 overall prospect and No. 31 interior offensive lineman in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 75 player in Florida.

The 6-foot-3, 327-pound recruit is one of three players at his position pledged to Florida. The others are Orange Park (Fla.) four-star Roderick Kearney and Rockledge (Fla.) three-star Bryce Lovett.

Meanwhile, Ricks is the No. 18 overall prospect and No. 2 cornerback in the On3 Consensus. Ricks, the No. 5 player in Florida, took an official visit to Gainsville last weekend.

The coaches who visited IMG Academy alongside Napier were cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond and offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Rob Sale. Eboni Ricks, the mother of Desmond Ricks, told Corey Bender of Gators Online that her son is meeting with Raymond. Napier can only meet with a prospect once during the contact period.

Florida’s 2023 recruiting class is currently No. 8 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 4 in the SEC. The Gators’ group is led by Pittsburg (Calif.) four-star quarterback Jaden Rashada, the No. 62 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

“Big, athletic corner who stars on one of the most talented defenses in high school football. Has good stature for the position at over 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds heading into his junior season. Registers as a strong athlete in the combine setting. Was a key player on IMG Academy’s talented defense as a sophomore in addition to seeing significant time as a freshman. A smooth mover with advanced technical ability. Battle-tested against top wide receivers both in practice at IMG and in playing a national schedule throughout the fall. Older for the class, turning 18 years old in the middle of his junior season.”
