Highland Home (Ala.) 2025 four-star EDGE Jakaleb Faulk took to the road this weekend to visit the Florida State Seminoles.

Faulk is the nation’s No. 157 overall prospect and No. 12 EDGE in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 11 recruit in Alabama.

One of the top defensive prospects in his class, Faulk committed to Auburn on August 21. His brother, Tigers defensive lineman Keldric Faulk, just finished his first season on the Plains.

“I loved the game,” Jakaleb Faulk told Auburn Live after a September visit. “I loved to watch my brother play and get a couple of tackles. It brought tears to my eyes to see my brother actually doing what he loves. It’s inspiring.”

Faulk said he also met with other Auburn commits during the visit.

“I got a good bond with a couple of commits. I was talking to a couple of them,” he said. “And the defense looked pretty nice. They were shutting them down pretty good. I could see where I fit in (on the defense).”

Mike Norvell & Co. are off to a hot start in the 2025 recruiting cycle, currently ranking No. 7 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings with four commits.

Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines top-30 offensive tackle Solomon Thomas leads the way for the Seminoles. He’s joined by Cocoa (Fla.) top-35 EDGE Javion Hilson, Sanford (Fla.) Seminole four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard and Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin three-star quarterback Tramell Jones.

Hilson joined the class earlier this month, flipping from Alabama following Nick Saban’s retirement.

“I like the atmosphere and the fan base,” Hilson told On3. “My dad is a big Florida State fan and I grew up watching them and it’s close to home. I am a Florida boy and they’ve been recruiting me the heaviest ever since I committed to Alabama. Also, I can fit the best in their defense 4-2-5 as a true defensive end.”
