Alabama transfer cornerback Earl Little Jr. has committed to Florida State, he announced via social media on Saturday. He spent two seasons with the Crimson Tide before entering the transfer portal Jan. 3.

Little appeared in eight games this past season, totaling two tackles as he played on both defense and special teams. He previously planned on returning but decided to enter the portal following a Rose Bowl loss to Michigan and conversations with head coach Nick Saban, BOL’s Charlie Potter reported.

Little Jr. is the son of Earl Little Sr., who played in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers.

Earl Little Jr. played high school football at American Heritage (FL), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 85 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle according to On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was also the No. 12-ranked player in the state of Florida, and he took two visits — an unofficial and an official — to FSU during his recruitment.
