As Florida State gets ready for its spring game on Saturday, the Seminoles will have plenty of star power on the sidelines. The program announced four legends are coming back as guest coaches for the event.

Peter Boulware, Danny Kanell, EJ Manuel and Bryant McFadden will all be back in Tallahassee for the game, Mike Norvell announced Wednesday. All four played in the NFL after college and are huge parts of Florida State history.

“I am excited for the opportunity to welcome back all of our football alumni this weekend and to spotlight these four incredible individuals,” Norvell said. “They all earned individual and team success while here at Florida State, and they have all gone on to make an impact in their professional careers as well. I appreciate their commitment to this program and their passion for this university. We are going to enjoy having them around our program this weekend, and I’m looking forward to seeing them call plays during the Main Event.”

Boulware played at Florida State from 1993-96 and his 19.0 sacks in 1996 set a program record. He finished with 34.0 sacks in three full seasons, ranking third on the Seminoles’ all-time list. The Baltimore Ravens drafted him as the No. 4 overall pick in 1997 NFL Draft and he went on to win Defensive Rookie of the Year, make four Pro Bowls and help the Ravens to a Super Bowl XXXV title in 2001. After his career ended, he ran for the Florida House of Representatives and lost by 430 votes. He’s also a member of the Florida State Athletics Hall of Fame.

Kanell won 20 of his 24 games as quarterback at Florida State from 1992-95. The Seminoles won two ACC titles while he was under center, and he took home ACC Player of the Year honors in 1995. He was a fourth-round pick of the New York Giants in 1996 and played eight years in the NFL before becoming an analyst for CBS, FOX Sports and Sirius XM.

Manuel starred for the Seminoles from 2008-12, going 25-6 as a starting quarterback and winning four straight bowl games. The Buffalo Bills drafted him No. 16 overall in 2013 and he played in the league until 2017, starting 18 games. Now, he works for ESPN and the ACC Network.

McFadden played in 48 games from 2000-04 and wound up heading to the Pittsburgh Steelers as the No. 62 overall pick. With Pittsburgh, he won two Super Bowls before his career ended in 2011. Now, he works as an analyst for CBS Sports.
