Florida State freshman wide receiver Goldie Lawrence has officially entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3’s Pete Nakos reported on Thursday evening. Lawrence was rated as a three-star prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. At one point during his recruitment process out of high school, he committed to the Florida Gators.

He was a three-year starter for Seminole High School (Sanford, Florida). Lawrence hauled in 92 catches for 1,495 yards with 21 touchdowns in his prep career. He also tacked on 139 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the ground in his career. As a senior, he helped guide his team to the regional semifinal of the 4M state playoffs.

During his junior year, he hauled in 54 catches for 782 yards and 11 touchdowns. As a runner, he ran for 50 yards and four touchdowns. In the 2023 cycle, Lawrence was rated as the No. 441 overall player in the country, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He chose Florida State over the likes of Florida, USF, Mississippi State, Missouri, and many others.
