Delray Beach (Fla.) three-star linebacker Jayden Parrish announced his commitment to Florida State on Monday night. He chose the Seminoles over Auburn and Kentucky among others.

Parrish is not ranked in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking. However, On3 rates him higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison.

Even though Parrish is not ranked in the 2024 On300, he is a three-star recruit and the No. 96 linebacker in the country, per On3. Parrish is also the No. 122 player in Florida.

“First off, I want to thank God for allowing me to be in this position, my parents and also my coaches,” Parrish wrote in a statement published to Twitter. “Florida State has always been one of my dream schools growing up and I’m one step closer to making that dream come true. After talks with my mom and dad about my recruiting process, I have decided to commit to Florida State.”

Following Parrish’s commitment, Florida State’s 2024 recruiting class is No. 8 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 1 in the ACC. It currently contains nine players.

Parrish the only linebacker in the Seminoles’ group. Meanwhile, its other members are Albany (Ga.) Dougherty four-star running back Kameron Davis, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star safety Jordan Pride, Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School four-star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek, Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar four-star wide receiver Tawaski Abrams, Lake City (Fla.) Columbia three-star wide receiver Camdon Frier, Atlanta (Ga.) Woodward Academy three-star safety CJ Heard, Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington three-star defensive lineman Jamorie Flagg and Boynton Beach (Fla.) American Heritage B/D kicker Jake Weinberg.

“There are some guys I think would fit in great with the 2024 class that we are building,” Davis told Michael Langston of Warchant on March 11. “With me and Luke being able to maintain the class and us being the first two commitments in the class, it puts a lot of responsibility on us to talk to guys and get points about Florida State.”
