Georgia offered Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove 2025 running back Bo Walker a little over a month ago. The Bulldogs didn’t have to wait long for him to join their class, as the star junior back committed to Kirby Smart and Co. on Thursday night.

“I committed early because I got that feeling,” he told On3. “My visits to Georgia made the decision for me. I just kept getting that feeling and I knew I was ready. I felt it right away, but when I was there for the UAB game, I knew Georgia was the place for me.”

Walker has already been on campus for multiple games this season and seeing the atmosphere inside Sanford Stadium made it feel like a second home.

“It is a great place to be and it feels like home to me,” he added. “It is an offer I have been wanting, so it has been a dream to go there. I got the offer, I built relationships and I made it happen and committed to Georgia. The fans love it, the coaches love being there, the players love playing there and I want to be a part of it.”

Picking the in-state Bulldogs was easy for Walker

The 5-foot-8, 190-pound speedster has already amassed more than a dozen offers midway through his junior season. Ole Miss and Arkansas were two other schools at the top of his list, but the relationships he had with the coaches in Athens put them over the top of other programs.

“I love Coach Dell McGee,” Walker said.” I love how he talks to me, how he talks to my grandmother and the type of person he is. He talks to me about life, how he will help me off the field and Coach McGee is a coach I am excited about playing for. I know he wants the best for me, and he is a great man.”

Walker also loves UGA’s success on the field and the way they’ve developed running backs under McGee and Smart.

“I know about Georgia’s history with running backs, and my favorite is D’Andre Swift,” he said. “I am ready to go in there, work and keep things rolling at running back. Georgia is the best program in the country — they are the best team out there and they aren’t going anywhere. We are going to keep it rolling at Georgia when I get there.”
