Georgia defensive lineman Christen Miller plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported Wednesday. He spent the past two seasons in Athens and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Miller appeared in 13 games this past season to finish with 14 total tackles (four for loss) and one sack. He played just four games as a true freshman to preserve a redshirt year.

As a recruit, Miller was a four-star prospect coming out of Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia. He ranked as the No. 122 overall player and No. 16 defensive lineman in the 2022 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Standing 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds, Miller has the size combined with the skill to make an impact wherever he goes. He’ll surely have plenty of suitors for his services given his high recruiting ranking coming out of high school.

Christen Miller is the second Georgia defensive lineman to enter the transfer portal along with Jonathan Jefferson. The Bulldogs have also lost a pair of edge rushers in Marvin Jones Jr. and CJ Madden.

Overall, Georgia has lost 25 players to the transfer portal while adding only seven. That currently ranks the Bulldogs No. 64 overall and No. 15 in the SEC according to On3’s Transfer Portal Team Rankings.
