Detroit Martin Luther King four-star quarterback Dante Moore has earned an offer from the national champion Georgia Bulldogs.

Moore is the No. 18 overall prospect in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He is generally considered the fourth-best quarterback in the 2023 cycle but included in the top tier of quarterbacks along with New Orleans Isidore Newman Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Arch Manning, Los Alamitos (Calif.) High Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Malachi Nelson and Downey (Calif.) Warren five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava.

“Moore showed off a quick release and some natural passing skills,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power said after watching one of Moore’s playoff games. “He was accurate and showed nice touch on two fade throws that both went for touchdowns. Moore also excels in the quick passing game with his ability to get the football out of his hand in a flash. He didn’t take too many downfield shots and finished the game 13 of 17 for 207 yards and three touchdowns along with another short rushing touchdown. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder looks to be more of a pocket passer at the next level. He doesn’t appear to be as strong of an athlete as several of his highly-rated contemporaries in the 2023 cycle.”

Tiger (Ga.) Rabun County four-star quarterback Gunner Stockton is the Georgia quarterback recruit in the 2022 class. He is the No. 154 player in the 2022 On3 Consensus and ninth-best quarterback in the class.

The Bulldogs already have nine commits in the 2023 cycle. Six of those recruits are four-star players, led by Grovetown (Ga.) four-star cornerback Marcus Washington, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star offensive tackle Bo Hughley, Santa Rosa Beach (Fla.) South Walton four-star tight end Pearce Spurlin and Milton (Fla.) four-star wide receiver Raymond Cottrell.
