The Georgia Bulldogs find themselves on the wrong side of transfer news on Christmas Day. On Monday, Georgia wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette announced that he plans on entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.

During his two seasons at Georgia, Morrissette played in a total of 13 games with the majority during his freshman season in 2022. In 2023, he played in three games and did not register a single reception on offense. In his freshman year, Morrissette had 4 catches for 34 yards and also recorded one carry for 8 yards.

Morrissette enters the transfer portal with three years of eligibility remaining in his collegiate career.

Morrissette played high school football at North Cobb High in Snellville, GA, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 203 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
