Atlanta (Ga.) Mays three-star defensive lineman Quintavius Johnson is staying home with a commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs. He announced the news on Twitter.

The 6-foot-5, 255-pounder is the No. 567 overall prospect and No. 51 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 69 player in Georgia.

Johnson picked up an offer from Georgia on April 19. Johnson visited Athens for the first time in late May and returned to campus on June 16 for an official visit.

Johnson’s pledge to the Bulldogs is just another win in what’s been memorable cycle for Kirby Smart and his staff.

The Bulldogs’ 2024 class ranks as the No. 1 class in the country with 20 pledges. It’s highlighted by a pair of five-star commits in Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Dylan Raiola and cornerback Ellis Robinson IV.

Raiola’s pledge in May set off a chain of events that led to several more prospects committing to the Bulldogs. A few of those pledges include punter Drew Miller, On3 No. 1 tight end Jaden Reddell, tight end Colton Heinrich, offensive lineman Marcus Harrison, defensive lineman Justin Greene, running back Chauncey Bowens and defensive lineman Jordan Thomas.

Quintavius Johnson currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $18.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
