The Georgia vs/ Arkansas game is one of the most highly anticipated games of the college football season. Georgia has released a hype video ahead of the Week 5 matchup to get fans fired up. Georgia football legend David Greene narrates the video.

Check out the video below.

In the video, Greene gets fans fired up by saying such lines like, “This Saturday, the Dawgs come off the leash.” It’s a well put together highlight video with a great combination of highlights.

David Greene: Georgia legend

David Greene is a Georgia football legend and peppered his name all over the Georgia record books during his time in Athens. Once he hung up his cleats, he ranked among the all-time greats in Georgia football in four major categories. He currently ranks second in career passing yards (11,528 yards), third in career touchdowns (72), fifth in single season passing yards (3,307) and first in touchdowns in a single game (5).

There was a beautifully written article by Kyle Funderburk on Greene four years, which talked about how good Greene was at running play-action passes. Funderburk is not telling lies. His play-action fakes were a thing of beauty. He even wrote, “But for my money, the best college quarterback to run play-action passes was David Greene.”

Check out the video below as the camera man is completely juked out.

The play-fake is beautifully sold by Greene, the Georgia running back and Terrence Edwards. It was beautiful salesmanship by all three parties. When those three elements work together in synchronization, it sure is pretty to watch. The Vanderbilt defenders were completely fooled. Who can blame them? That play-action fake was a work of art.

Arkansas showdown

The Arkansas rushing attack is currently ranked eighth in the country in rushing yards per game. The Hogs have chewed up 261 rushing yards per game so far in this season. This week is when they’ll face by far their stiffest test yet in the Georgia front seven. So far the Bulldogs run defense ranks seventh in the country in rushing yards allowed per game (69.5). Something has got to give.

Earlier in the week, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart noted how Arkansas is much more physical this year than they were a year ago.

“They are not the same Arkansas team we faced last year, they are way more physical,” he said. “This is the kind of game that we here at Georgia look for, a game that we can be physical. We pride ourselves on our toughness and physicality. I am sure everyone on the team is excited for the game as I am.”

Like PFF has noted, the Georgia defense has 11 created players. It’s like something out of a NCAA Football video game.

The Georgia defensive front seven could very well be one of the fastest and most athletic in college football history. There’s still plenty of the season left to be played out but the Bulldogs are well on their way to etching their names among the greatest defenses in the history of the sport.

The Georgia-Arkansas game is set to kickoff Saturday at noon. The game will be televised on ESPN.
