The Georgia Bulldogs were the 2022 College Football National Champions for a reason. They were stacked with jaw-dropping talent all over the place. On Saturday night, the Bulldogs are putting their incredible amount of NFL talent on display for the football world to see. The linebackers are running through drills tonight and former Georgia Bulldog Channing Tindall ran an unofficial 40-time of 4.53.

Check out the run below.

Tindall’s performance was just yet another reminder this weekend how stacked the 2022 version of the Georgia Bulldogs were on the defensive side of the football. His official time was released later on Saturday night and it ended up being a 4.47. That time ranks third among all of the linebackers at the combine.

Not only did Tindall dominate the 40-yard dash, he crushed the other drills at the combine, including the vertical leap (42 inches) and the broad jump (10 feet, 9 inches).

In the national championship against Alabama, Tindall made headlines after he missed a pass coverage assignment in the end zone. His teammate Nakobe Dean let him know about it and got up in his face. That was all that Tindall needed to hear.

On the next play, he got the Bulldogs their first sack of the game. Tindall brought Alabama quarterback Bryce Young to the ground for a loss of 13-yards in the second quarter. It was a pivotal play in the game and showed the team accountability and leadership within Georgia’s defense.

Even on a loaded Bulldogs defense, Tindall established himself as one of the game’s elite. During the 2021-2022 season, he racked up 67 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks. He also notched 19 hurries and one forced fumble. The 6-foot-2, 230 pound linebacker was the Georgia’s third-leading tackler this season. Tindall was named to the second team Associated Press All-SEC team.
