New Orleans (La.) Holy Cross three-star wide receiver Koby Young has decommitted from Georgia Tech, he announced on Sunday.

Young previously committed to the Yellow Jackets in June over offers from LSU and more than a dozen other programs.

“First and foremost, I want to Thank the Lord for blessing me with the opportunities I have and the position I’m in today,” he wrote on Twitter. “Secondly, I want to thank Coach Crawford, Coach Brumfield, and Coach key for the opportunity to play at the institution of Georgia tech. But after carefully discussing with my family, and after careful consideration, I will be decommitting from Georgia tech and exploring my options.”

Young is the No. 550 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 90 wide receiver and the No. 14 recruit in Louisiana.
