Valdosta (Ga.) four-star defensive lineman Omar White was reoffered by Georgia Tech on Wednesday. He has been committed to Colorado since Dec. 26.

White is the No. 102 overall prospect and No. 10 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 18 player in Georgia.

On3 rates White higher than other recruiting services, per the Industry Comparison. According to the 2024 On300, he is the No. 83 overall prospect, No. 7 defensive lineman and No. 13 player in Georgia.

The 6-foot-2, 305-pound recruit is one of three members of Colorado’s 2024 recruiting class. The others are Valdosta (Ga.) On3 four-star defensive lineman Eric Brantley Jr. — his high school teammate — and Compton (Calif.) Leuzinger three-star wide receiver Daijon Calimon.

Meanwhile, Georgia Tech has one commit in their 2024 class. Macon (Ga.) First Presbyterian Day School four-star quarterback Jakhari Williams, the No. 117 overall prospect in the On300, chose the Yellow Jackets on Nov. 21.

Additionally, Georgia Tech’s 2023 class contains 21 commits. It ranks No. 62 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 12 in the ACC.

White has an On3 NIL Valuation of $69K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
