San Diego (Calif.) Mater Dei Catholic four-star wide receiver Jeremiah McClure received an offer from Louisville on Sunday. He announced the news on social media.

McClure is the No. 254 overall prospect and No. 32 wide receiver in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 17 player in California.

On3 rates him bit higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2023 On300, McClure is the No. 237 overall prospect, No. 33 wide receiver and No. 15 player in California.

The 6-foot-1, 190 pound wideout has received 19 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Arizona is trending for his commitment at 43.7%. He took an official visit to the Wildcats on June 10.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Louisville’s 2023 recruiting class ranks No. 15 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 3 in the ACC. The Cardinals’ group is led by El Campo (Texas) five-star running back Rueben Owens, the No. 31 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

McClure has an On3 NIL Valuation of $14.1K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Jeremiah McClure On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Jeremiah McClure:

“Well-built receiver with big-play ability on vertical routes. Listed at around 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. Proved to be a big-play threat as a junior, accounting for 958 yards and 8 touchdowns while helping his team to a state title. Averaged 25.8 yards per catch. Quick off the ball and is able to gain separation with his initial burst.

“Showing some progression with his releases off the line. Tracks the ball well on vertical routes and finishes through contact. Has the quickness, lateral agility and physicality to be a threat after the catch. May be quicker than fast in terms of long speed. Still refining his game relative to route-running particularly on intermediate routes.”
