Yelm (Wash.) four-star linebacker Brayden Platt received an offer from Louisville on Friday night. He announced the news on social media.

Platt is the No. 245 overall prospect and No. 22 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Washington

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound prospect has received 10 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Oregon is leading for his commitment at 64.7%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

The Cardinals currently have one commit in their 2024 recruiting class. Homestead (Fla.) four-star running back Isaac Brown chose Louisville on Aug. 1.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals’ 2023 class is No. 19 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 4 in the ACC. The group is led by El Campo (Texas) five-star running back Rueben Owens, the No. 28 overall prospect and No. 1 tailback in the 2023 On3 Consensus.

Platt has an On3 NIL Valuation of $12.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
