The 6-foot-3.5, 185-pound wideout holds 20 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction MachineAuburn has a commanding lead for his commitment at 93.7%.

“When I step on campus, do I feel at home because I’ll be here for the next three-to-four years of my life?” Coleman told On3’s Chad Simmons on Feb. 27 about what matters in his decision. “Also, the football, my relationship with the coaches.”

LSU offered Coleman on March 8. He also told Simmons that Florida State will host him on March 11.

Coleman breaks down programs standing out to him

Coleman discussed schools standing out in his recruitment with Simmons.

Alabama: “They produce top-10 receivers every year. They have great play-calling. They like to throw the ball down the field, get it to their receivers and they also develop receivers.”

Auburn: “They got a great coaching staff. They got a lot of experience in the coaching room. Coach (Hugh) Freeze, coach (Marcus) Davis, he played at Auburn.”

Florida State: “I like the atmosphere, the tradition. The coaching staff is real friendly. It’s just a great school overall.”

Michigan: “(Wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy and I have) been building a relationship. I haven’t been to Michigan yet, but I’ve been looking forward to getting to Michigan for a while. They have a great academic program, so it’s just a place I want to get to.”

Northwestern: “They’re just a really good coaching staff. They run a pro-style offense. They have a great academic program and I make good grades, so they took a chance on me because they have only offered like 10 receivers in the class of 2024.”

Penn State: “I was like, ‘Oh, I gotta get back up here.’ I’ve been talking to coach (Rashad) Rich. He’s been showing me around the campus, showing me what I’d be doing when I get up there. It was just a great experience when I went up there and I’m looking forward to getting back.”
