Funeral arrangements for daughter of Kevin Faulk announced

The funeral arrangements for former LSU running back Kevin Faulk’s daughter have been announced. The services are for Kevione Troshana Faulk, age 19, who passed away Monday, Sept. 13 2021 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The services will be held Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. CDT. The address is: St. Anthony Catholic Church at 615 Edison Street, Lafayette, Louisiana 70501.

Kevoine Tronasha Faulk was born on September 17, 2001 in Lafayette, LA to the union of Kevin Troy Faulk and Latisha Clark Faulk. She attended Carencro Middle School, was a 2020 graduate of Carencro High School and was currently enrolled at Louisiana State University majoring in Neonatal Surgery. Kevione worked as a student staff member within the LSU Football program and has always been actively involved in her schools’ extracurricular actives.”

“Kevione was a beautiful girl who radiated happiness to others. Her smile was infectious and although shy, she was polite and respectful. Her family and friends mourn the loss of Kevione and her memory will remain within each of their hearts.”

Kevin Faulk

Kevin Faulk is currently the running backs coach at LSU. This is currently his second season coaching with the LSU Tigers. In his college football career, he hung up his cleats as one of the greatest players ever to suit up at LSU and finished as the school’s all-time leading rusher. In the pros, he went on to become a three-time Super Bowl champion.

As a high school running back, Faulk was one of the most decorated recruits in the nation, piling up over 7,600 all-purpose yards and 89 touchdowns. The talented tailback earned All-America honors from Parade Magazine and USA Today.

While he was in the National Football League, Faulk shined once again, scoring 33 career touchdowns with the New England Patriots. He holds the franchise record for all-purpose yards (12,349) and kickoff return yards (4,098).

He is a native of Carencro, Lousiana, and retired from the NFL on Oct. 9, 2012. The gifted tailback was elected into the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2016. Faulk was also named to the Patriots All-Decade Team for the 2000s. The LSU football legend is a member of the LSU Athletic Hall of Fame as well as the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. He’s currently on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame.
