Buda (Texas) San Marcos three-star offensive tackle Ory Williams has committed to the LSU Tigers. He announced the news on Twitter.

The 6-foot-7, 285-pound lineman is the No. 513 overall prospect and No. 31 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 93 player in Texas.

Williams picked up an offer from LSU in April 22. He’s taken to trips to Baton Rouge this year first visiting in April and taking an official visit on June 16.

“It was amazing,” Williams told The Bengal Tiger staff following his official visit. “It’s the home feeling, you know what I mean? I’ve already been around the guys, we’ve had that bond and it just grew over the (official visit) with Coach Davis. I have the potential to be developed by one of the best coaches in the nation to make me one of the best players in the world.

…He really showed me what he has set up for my development plan. It was nice. He’s already took that step to show me and help me progress and develop. I trust him and (LSU head coach Brian Kelly. It was a great weekend.”
