2024 4-star ATH Mazeo Bennett takes photo with Mario Cristobal on Miami visit
Greenville (S.C.) four-star athlete Mazeo Bennett is in South Florida for the Battle Miami 7v7 Tournament. After playing Saturday, he visited Miami.
During his trip to Coral Gables, Bennett took a photo with Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal. The 5-foot-11.5, 175-pound recruit then posted the picture to social media.
Bennett is the No. 199 overall prospect and No. 20 athlete in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in South Carolina.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, South Carolina is leading for Bennett’s commitment at 51.6%. He was previously committed to Tennessee.

Head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff have landed one commitment in Miami’s 2024 recruiting class. Shreveport (La.) C.E. Byrd kicker Abram Murray chose the Hurricanes on July 31.
Multiple blue-chip recruits are in Coral Gables this weekend alongside Bennett. They include Tampa (Fla.) Carrollwood Day four-star running back Anthony Carrie, Harper Woods (Mich.) four-star safety Jacob Oden, Chillicothe (Ohio) four-star tight end and LSU commit Tayvion Galloway and Chattanooga (Tenn.) Brainerd four-star safety Boo Carter.
Bennett has an On3 NIL Valuation of $29K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
