Michigan State is coming off a 2023 class that ranked No. 6 in the On3 Team Rankings. The class was highlighted by 2023 On3 Consensus No. 7 Xavier Booker.

While some may say Tom Izzo’s recruiting took a dip in recent seasons, things appear to be back on track. Izzo has recruited 22 players drafted during his time as the Spartans’ head coach.

Along with Booker, Michigan State’s 2023 class included four-star players Jeremy Fears, Coen Carr, and Gehrig Normand.

While Michigan State does not have any commitments in 2024, they have gotten off to a good start, bringing in three four-stars on official visits. There are some interesting ties to the program in this class.

Entering his 28th season as a head coach, all at Michigan State, Izzo has not cast a wide net in recruiting. He currently has less than ten offers out in the class. Let’s look through how the class could shape up.
